Online video downloads store coming soon

Hello Guys,

This blog post is to let you know that I will have an online store coming fairly soon, where you’ll be able to purchase, and download, video content.

It’s been quite difficult locating different payment gateways, and it now looks as though I’m finally getting somewhere.

The store is visible as “Downloads.”

Presently, I’ve got to put some things on there which can be purchased and downloaded, so don’t try to buy anything from there just yet! Everything is literally just in “test” stage. So if you do try buying anything, you’ll probably get lots of error messages and the like. I’ll update this post when everything’s ready to go.

I’ve got a bit of work to do, now, to get it up and running.

I had, originally, used Stripe as a payment processing gateway. However, when I made a test purchase, Stripe immediately closed my account. This was due to the adult content. I was somewhat disappointed, as, when the account was set up, there was no disapproval, or notices that they would have any issues. It is what it is.

Typically, many payment processing gateways refuse to process payments for adult videos or materials, and so the process has been quite challenging. This is due to the apparent risks involved, legal problems, banking etiquette, etc. Some banks refuse to process adult payments.  This is because of risk to their reputation, as well as having issues with legalities, and whatnot.

I can’t yet take any payments on the page, until I hear back with account details from CCbill. The payment gateway will then need to be fully integrated.

I’m still waiting on this, so keep an eye out for any updates to this post. I’ll let you know the moment It’s ready to go.
